A friendly reminder that discounted or “cheap” piercings are not always the best choice. Talk to your kids about the dangers of cheap piercings and tattoos.
(infection, scarring, and other health related and social consequences)
If a shop is offering discounted or cheap work they are likely compromising your health and safety.
At New Tribe we believe that you get what you pay for and that should be a safe and healthy piercing experience, proper and full aftercare instruction, a clean environment and a quality, long-lasting piercing.
Fact is: At New Tribe we often turn down piercing requests that are unsafe, unhealthy or dangerous. We treat each client individually, examine their body and won’t pierce anyone, anywhere that their anatomy is unsuited for. We always encourage clients to think long and hard about their decision to get pierced and we never pierce anyone who is visibly distressed.
All piercing clients have their anatomy examined and we will only pierce you if it is safe to do so.
If you or your kids are thinking, talking, or expressing interest in getting pierced. Talk to them about the dangers of going to a shop that offers discounts, deals or “cheap” piercings. In the long run, it is more important that you support them towards a safe decision rather than have them make it on their own based on a savings of $20.
